A You can get information on several sources of financial assistance by calling 2-1-1. Or go online at www.211centraltexas.org and search for the service you want. ARCIL has no funds for rent or other expenses. ARCIL's Tenant Based Rent Assistance program is closed.

Q How can I apply for a Section 8 voucher or other affordable housing?

A ARCIL helps people with disabilities understand and apply for many affordable housing programs.  However, most affordable housing programs have waiting lists of several months or longer.  ARCIL keeps an email list to send out new information on affordable housing.

Q Can ARCIL help me with employment?

A ARCIL is not an employment services provide, and encourages people with disabilities to seek Vocational Rehabilitation services through DARS.  ARCIL can help you to understand what services are available, know your rights, and advocate for the services you need. Sometimes ARCIL's Independent Living Skills class schedule includes classes that help with employment.  Check the current ARCIL Class Schedule on this website.
